Piroxicam-Betadex is a molecule developed by Chiesi based on a chemical complex (host-guest technology) in which every piroxicam molecule is enclosed in a sugar ring. This formulation yields a significant improvement in terms and resorption and, therefore, the onset of action. The portfolio of rheumatological products is being expanded through the addition of a hyaluronic acid preparation (NeoVisc®) and a modern anti-rheumatic therapy (Orthokine®).
